the Husbands
My Wife’s A Dance
Teacher
Led by dance teacher husband
and studio business manager
Tony Corso, this completely
unique seminar is open to
all men who’ve chosen a
dance teacher as their life
partner. Get it ALL off your
chest in this lively
discussion! Discover ways to
offer a better support
system for your significant
other, whether you’re
involved in the school or
not.
Talk to other men who
live the same life you do!
Husband Hip Hop
No one but husbands allowed
. . . the chance for the men
to let that inner dancer out
(behind
closed doors)!
An Up Close and
Personal . . .
A Special
Evening with the Big Guns
Moderators: Rhee Gold and
Nancy O’Meara
We’ve all taken their
classes, attended their
events and seen their
choreography, but how did
they become so successful
and what are their secrets?
Who were their mentors? What
are their thoughts on
“living the life” and what
words of wisdom can they
offer today’s teachers and
school owners? Wonder no
more. We’ll talk about it
all with Rosemarie Boyden,
Brian Foley, Rennie Gold,
Finus Jhung, Joe Lanteri, Jo
Rowan, Gregg Russell, Gil
Stroming, Joe Tremiane,
Art Stone (to name a
few) at this unprecedented
gathering of the leaders
in our field! It will be
like nothing you’ve ever
attended before
Competition Reality
We will gather the
competition directors,
judges, and other
competition experts for this
“first of its kind”
discussion on how to make
the competition experience
better for everyone
involved. The pros, the
cons, age appropriate
movement, scoring systems,
organization, philosophy and
more will be on the table at
what promises to be a lively
discussion
Family Hip Hop
A fun class for our
attendees and their
families. All registered
attendees may bring their
children and significant
others to this fun event

FAQ’s
Q: Who can attend?
A: One of the things that make
the conference unique is that it
is open to all who have a hand
in the success of a dance
school. Attendees are owners,
teachers, studio managers or
office staff and significant
others. They range from those
who have been in the business
fifty years to those who are
just beginning the dance
education journey! Minimum age
18.
Q: Can you tell me a
little bit more about the two
tracks?
A: The business track is for
those who own and/or manage the
school. The classroom track is
for those who work within the
classroom. With the exception of
a few sessions for
“studio-owners only,” attendees
may move from one track to the
other.
Q: Can My Husband
Attend?
The conference is husband
friendly with special FREE
events just for them. Husbands
or significant others who want
to participate in the entire
conference are welcome; however
they must be a registered and
paid attendee.
Q: For the class track,
will there be dance classes, or
is it just talks and panel
discussions?
A: The event will be loaded with
actual dance classes in all
styles of dance with a focus on
what and how to teach. There
will also be good ole technique
classes, some routines and
choreography, and some ingenious
tips that you’ll use for the
rest of your teaching career. In
addition to all that, there will
also be some discussion-format
sessions pertaining to classroom
issues and teaching strategies.
Q: How will Project
Motivate be incorporated?
A: Throughout the 4-day event,
Rhee Gold will present his
Project Motivate seminars;
sometimes for both tracks
combined, as well as sessions
for each individual track. The
Project Motivate message is a
big part of what this conference
is all about.
Q: What does my fee
include?
A: The registration fee includes
conference admission, the highly
acclaimed conference manual,
four continental breakfasts, a
ticket to the gala luncheon,
special evening events, and
exclusive vendor coupons and
discounts. Additional tickets to
the luncheon may be purchased
separately.
Q: What is the Gala
Luncheon?
A: Each registered attendee
receives one FREE luncheon
ticket. This special event is
scheduled for August 2 and will
feature a sit down lunch, live
entertainment, special guests
and the DanceLife Teacher
Conference Lifetime Achievement
Awards.
Q: Can I purchase
additional luncheon tickets?
A: Yes, additional luncheon
tickets are available for $50.00
each. They can be purchased by
contacting Jill Egan at
888-i-dance-9 (local:

recorders are allowed. We will
offer a special “literature
exchange” in our business
sessions, please bring your
studio brochures and other
literature that you feel would
be good for the literature
exchange.
Q: Are video cameras
